| Green business-Matchmaking between the Chinese and Dutch companies for green technologies |

On 8th September, a business matchmaking between the Chinese and Dutch environmental technology companies was organized by Yixing municipality and JiangSu trade & economic office in the Netherlands. 10 Chinese environmental enterprises from Yixing city of Jiangsu province, China, and around 30 Dutch companies have participated in this event. The main purpose of the event was to seek partnership in green energy in hydro, solar and wind technology, and to forge a tighter investment between the two countries. Micaela dos Ramos, executive director of Holland Gateway, gave the opening speech about her respect on the remarkable results of the Yixing city. She further stressed that Holland Gateway as a network organization, facilitates international business and creates dialogue between Dutch and international public and private parties. Followed by Eelko Brinkhoff, Project Manager of the Foreign Investments of BOM, who reviewed the prolonged business relation between the province of Brabant and Jiangsu province in his speech. Commercial Counselor of Chinese Embassy in the Netherlands Mr. Wu Mingxin expressed his optimistic vision and expectations of the Sino-Dutch business relationship. The Chinese delegation leader Mr. Li Qiufeng presented various potential green industry and businesses opportunities in Yixing city to foster a stronger partnership between China and the Netherlands.
