European Union nationals

EU nationals do not need a visa nor permit to stay in the Netherlands for less than 3 months. A registration at the Municipal Administration is required for a longer stay. A registration with the Immigration Authorities (Vreemdelingenpolitie) is also necessary after 3 months of stay in the Netherlands.

EU nationals do not need a MVV (provisional residence permit) to enter the Netherlands. They also do not need a permit to work in the Netherlands.
